The survey device associates with the actual deployed network and transmits/receives data while moving through the space. This measures real-world throughput, packet loss, latency, DNS response times, and roaming handoff performance.

Wireless Passive Survey

The survey device listens to all 802.11 frames on each channel without associating to the network. Captures RSSI, noise floor, SNR, channel utilisation, AP beacon data, and interference from neighbouring networks and non-WiFi sources.
